We visited the Hole In Wand Tavern to take pictures with their potion masters. Using their bar as a backdrop and a two-light set up, we captured photography for their social media platforms.
We have worked with local York business, The Potions Cauldron, on many occasions. From staging photos for large website banners, to press shots for social media and paid social media ads. We have also taken some plain, white background photography shots for their B2B sales.
Recently, they wanted product photography for the brand new products they were adding to the website. We made sure to keep the style, and overall appearance of the photos, as the same as our previous work for them. This ensured a clean and consistent feel to their online store.

milnerCreaitve were tasked with taking professional, and on-brand, photos of the new products at The Potions Cauldron.
They needed a range of products from reflective glass bottles, to chocolate bars, bath bombs and large bundle sets.
Importantly, the photos needed to look almost exactly like the photos we had taken for them last time, to keep the appearance of the shop consistent.
During a half-day of photography, we took photos for 31 different products and bundles for their website.
Each shot has been taken specifically with the website in mind so that they are all delivered in the correct size, optimised and compressed whilst maintaining a high standard of quality.

Over the past year, Ainsty Ales have been developing their new website and e-commerce offer. As part of this and their continued marketing development with PW Does, they needed new product photography.
We worked with PW Does to style and shoot their new photos. They needed to be suitable for their website, as well as their marketing and social media.

They needed a range of photos for their products, the facilities and seasonal merch.
The photos were also going to be featured in some press articles, and on social media too. So we kept this in mind during our sessions with them.
During the photoshoots held in between lockdowns and eased restrictions, we were able to create high-quality images that followed a consistent feel on their website and online presence.

It was important for us that the brand was correctly represented within each and every photo we shot.
Winston’s of York is an independent menswear brand based in York. The lockdowns during 2020 forced them to become a digital-first business, transferring sales from their shop onto their website.
Prior to our work, there was little consistency with the photography on the website since this wasn’t a priority for the business at the time. We were asked to change this.
Over the past 2 years, milnerCreative have worked with Winston’s on various styles of photography – this includes flatlay photography, model photography against a white background, and lifestyle photography on location.

They needed a range of photos from flat lay product shots with plain white backgrounds to model and lifestyle shots for each product listing.
Importantly, all of the photography had to be consistently sized so they could be used on the Winston’s website.
Over several photoshoots, we were able to create high-quality images that followed a consistent feel on their website.

It was important for us and the client that these photos were supplied correctly to reduce the time and effort required from the client.
We supported start up eco-homeware brand tuline with their launch.We provided branding support, web design and photography.

The founder of tuline was able to design the logo themselves. We supported them with thier wider branding, including colour and how to apply their branding across different channels.
milnerCreative built the tuline ecommerce site using WordPress and Woocommerce. It was built in a way that it was easy to maintain by the client, to reduce thier long term costs.
It was built mobile first, with Google Analytics and Facebook Pixel included in the build.
We provided all of the photography for their website, as well as lifestyle shots for social media.
Whilst we were working on their white background product photography, The Potions Cauldron asked if we could also take a picture for their social media banner.
Our knowledge of social media allowed us to take a picture with social media in mind. We knew the crops for cover photos, meaning we could fit all the important parts of the photo inside the crop area.

Independent menswear brand, Winston’s of York, had their new autumn line delivered recently. We went out with Owner, David, to get some lifestyle shots.
We used a local York park to set the scene for these every day, staple pieces.
